On Monday, August 30, the Nashville chapter of the Public Relations Society of America held their annual awards banquet, and Burgundy Group Advertising was thrilled to win the prestigious BEST OF SHOW honor, along with six additional awards. The Best of Show award recognizes the best work done by a Nashville-area public relations firm for the year.
Our Best of Show recognition came for our campaign promoting Holy Rosary School’s National Blue Ribbon Award from the U.S. Department of Education. Our PRSA entry received the ONLY perfect score from the judges – not an easy feat to achieve among the 200 entries submitted.
For our work on the Holy Rosary campaign, the Burgundy Group wrote the 20-page narrative blue ribbon award entry that was submitted to the U.S. Department of Education, resulting in Holy Rosary being named one of only 342 schools out of 130,000 schools nationwide to win the award. Additionally, we planned and executed two special school/community events to announce and celebrate the National Blue Ribbon Award, successfully increasing awareness of Holy Rosary and helping to significantly increase applications for admission for the 2020-21 school year.
Altogether, Burgundy Group won two Parthenon Awards and four Awards of Merit, in addition to the Best of Show award, for our clients:
